Conception

 

The idea for Loom came while watching my daughter make Ojos de Dios for our Christmas tree- something I remember doing at her age. I liked the quilty shapes in the little star and adapting a log cabin, then added a more complex layout and color story.

Creation

Loom was designed on Adobe Illustrator. I used American Made Brand solids for all fabric elements, Warm & Natural batting, and Aurifil thread to piece and quilt.
